Carpentry Technology

Measure. Frame. Construct. Lead the Build.

The Brockton High School CTE Carpentry Technology Program prepares students for high-demand careers in residential and commercial construction — where precision craftsmanship, structural expertise, and leadership shape the communities around us.

This is not just a woodworking class.

Students train in a structured, safety-first, industry-aligned construction lab — applying construction math, blueprint reading, building science, and hands-on structural techniques from freshman through senior year. All courses are Honors-level and weighted accordingly, reflecting the academic rigor and high standards expected in today’s construction and engineering fields. As part of their professional training, students earn the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Carpentry Level One credential, a nationally recognized certification that validates foundational construction skills and strengthens both employment and apprenticeship opportunities.

Students graduate workforce-ready, academically prepared, credentialed, and ready to enter the skilled trades with confidence.
